Assurance au kilometre allianz6/21/2023 What a joke I got recovery 1130am, 16 hours after the call….FLAT BATTERY What horrified me was: 1. In fact I received no information even on who would be attending, which is a safety issue.I still don’t have the garage name two days later, because trust me….they’ll be getting a review! I called Allianz FR, again, who said they would email Allianz UK and request a quicker recovery. No return call which is impolite! I now understand that it is Allianz France who DIRECTS the dossier not the UK re the decisions ! After one hour the UK didn’t call back. I refused to wait telling the call handler to find another garage, that I was 10 miles from London and this was ridiculous. They informed me that France should not make appointments. At 7.54am the next morning I was woken up by the UK caller handler telling me the recovery would be 11am. I had to stay at a friends in a rural street and couldn’t go to the Supermarket which is what I wanted to do! Not an emergency but that’s not the issue. They MADE me nominate a garage and promised a 9am appointment would be booked for recovery. When on holiday in the UK 10 miles from London, I asked for assistance at 7pm at night and it was refused telling me they couldn’t do it because if the car (suspected flat battery) couldn’t be repaired the nominated garage would be shut. This is long, but read it and see how I was treated. This company merits 0 not even 1 Avoid this company.
